Common Name: Southern Bacopa
Bacopa australis was discovered in southern Brazil (australis = southern), and it is not from Australia, as might otherwise be assumed from its name. A relativly new plant in the hobby. Stems become 10-30 cm tall and 2-4 cm wide. Like the other Bacopa species, Bacopa australis is also easy to grow in an aquarium. Under certain conditions it creeps across the bottom to form an elegant and decorative light green cushion.

Remove the plant from the pot and remove the rock wool and rinse in water. Remove any dead leaves. Split plant into portions and using aquascaping tweezers, plant in substrate.
This is a medium category plant and thus will do best in medium to high lighting and will defenitly benefit from CO2 injection. As the plant grown, trim the plant and replant to create a more bushy appearance.
DO NOT RELEASE PLANTS OR LIVESTOCK INTO LOCAL WATERWAYS.
