Common Name: Marble Queen Radican Sword
Echinodorus cordifolius 'Marble Queen' is a very unique sword due to its varigated leaves and longish ovate leaves with a heart-shaped base. A great center piece plant for the background of the aquarium. Keep in mind that the varigation is mostly present in the plants emersed stage rather than when it is fully submerged where the leaves will be predominantly bright green.
Echinodorus cordifolius 'Marble Queen' is a showy, large swordplant that can be used as a solitary plant in the background to midground of larger tanks. Its tendency to grow out of the water is useful for open aquariums and tall paludariums where its variegated leaves and long, arching inflorescences with white flowers are an eyecatcher.
