Common Name: Creeping Primrose-Willow (var. Dark Red)
Similar to Ludwigia repens 'Rubin', this plant under ideal conditions produce a striking dark redish coloration. One of the easier to maintain red plants, Ludwigia repens 'Dark Red' will bring a splash of color to any aquascape. The Ludwigia sp. are highly used in dutch and nature style aquascapes.
This plant is great as a midground to background plant.

Remove the plant from the pot and remove the rock wool and rinse in water. Remove dead leaves. Using aquascaping tweezers, plant in substrate.
Plant in large groups to enhance the decorative effect, and prune regularly with aquascaping scissors to encourage bushy growth.
The plant has few demands, but if light is insufficient the lower leaves tend to fall off. In strong light the colour becomes more intense. Although CO2 is not required, adding CO2 will defenitly help.DO NOT RELEASE PLANTS AND LIVESTOCK INTO LOCALL WATERWAYS!
