The Asian Monosolenium tenerum is an attractive liverwort, 2-5 cm high, which looks most like a giant Riccia that simply stays at the bottom, where it forms cushions. This plant is mistakenly known as Pellia.

This is grown in-vitro and is kept in a nutrition medium. Remove the plants from the cup and rinse plant and roots in aquarium water to remove the medium. Seperate into portions and attatch to hardscape or or place in small clumps among other plants such as Eleocharis.
Easy to maintain plant. It is a brittle plant, and pieces break off easily. Once Monosolenium has established itself, it is very undemanding.
