Common Name: River Buttercup
This species comes from Australia that grows to 5-10 cm (2-4 in.) tall. There are many species and variants of Ranunculus, which grow coarse and leggy in aquariums. Ranunculus inundatus is characterised by its compact form and distinguished, deeply cut umbrellas. The plant forms many vertical runners with new plants and over time thick bottom coverage is formed.
A foregrond plant that can be used as a transition plant from foreground to midground and will add a unique texture to your aquascape!
Ranunculus inundatus
This is grown in-vitro and is kept in a nutrition medium. Remove the plants from the cup and rinse plant and roots in aquarium water to remove the medium. Seperate into portions and plant into nutrient rich substrate with aquascaping tweezers.
This plant is a medium category plant. Good lighting produces compact growth. Long leaves can be pruned. CO2 injection is recomended.
DO NOT RELEASE PLANTS AND LIVESTOCK INTO LOCAL WATERWAYS!
