Schismatoglottis prietoi is a aquatic or semi-aquatic plant that is endemic to the rivers in the Philippines, where it often appears in large, dense groups and is a very unique and easy to maintain stolon plant. It can resemble Anubias, wit 3-8 cm long, eliptic leaves. Growth is faster, though, and it grows best planted in the bottom layer, where it willingly produces runners.

  • This plant is grown in-vitro and is kept in a nutrient medium. Remove plant from cup and gently rinse in aquarium water to remove excess medium. Split into portions and plant into substraite with aquascaping tweezers.

It is an undemanding and easy plant, thriving very well in most aquaria, even in very poor light. Does well as a foreground to midground plant. High lighting and CO2 injection is not required.

DO NOT RELEASE PLANTS AND LIVESTOCK INTO LOCAL WATERWAYS.
