Shipping Policy

We are dedicated to making sure your order arrives secure and on time. As of right now we are using USPS flat rate priority (free for orders > $100) which should arrive within 1-3 business days and UPS Priority Overnight (free for orders > $100) which should arrive next day as long as there are no weather and holiday delays. Orders go out Monday-Wednesday by 4 PM. In an effort to keep our flat rate shipping options at an affordable price and to help offset the cost of shipping materials, we now have a minimum $15.00 subtotal requirement on all orders being shipped. This does not apply to local pick-up.

Although we try our best to keep track of weather, primarily temperature, it is the responsibility of the customer to monitor the weather at their location and to add a heat pack to their order if necessary. We ship from Southern New Jersey where it can get as low as 30°F during winter.

  • For plants and livestock if > 80°F delay order.

  • For plants if < 60°F add heat pack, for fish and inverts if < 70°F

 

For dry goods and plants we recommend the USPS flat rate option. For more sensitive organisms such as fish, amphibians and inverts we recommend the UPS overnight option.

As of right now we do not ship to Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico.

It is the responsibility of the customer to look into local laws regarding acquisitions of certain plants and livestock. If you order something you are not allowed to keep in your state we are not responsible for any legal actions. 

​

We also have a in person pickup option for those who are local. Be advised we are a residential based retailer (no store front). Unfortunately we do not have a way set up to receive special delivery instructions but will do our best to make sure your package is delivered on time and secure. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact us!

Return & DOA Policy

We guarantee our plants and livestock will arrive safe and alive. We ask that our customers do all they can to reduce the time the package sits in the elements. As mentioned in our Shipping Policy we ask that either a heat pack be added to your order or to delay your order. However, it is best to delay your order during extreme temperature and weather conditions.

 

Plants and Livestock 

If weather below 50°F for plants or below < 70°F for fish and inverts, a heat pack is required for DOA. We have a 100% DOA protection. If any  of our live goods arrives damaged or dead we ask at least two clear pictures be sent of the plant or livestock in its sealed bag or container along with order no./packing slip and product name and email us at info@atlantincaquariums.com within 2 hours of the package being delivered to the address. We do not accept returns of perishable goods such as livestock and plants.

 

Dry Goods  

Dry goods can be returned within 30 days as long as it is undamaged, unused and in its original packing.

As of right now it is not possible to get a refund on products purchased with a gift card. Product exchange, however, is available.
